By completing the membership form you are agreeing to the terms of membership as detailed below:
Caterer’s Club may refuse membership at its discretion without giving reason and will refund any amounts paid in respect of subscriptions or any other fees.
Members shall pay an annual subscription as is deemed fit by the company for that period.
As a member of Caterer’s Club, you are entitled to benefits as set out on the Caterer’s Club website and the information leaflet including products and services offered by supplier members as and when they are made available and subject to their terms and conditions. Caterer’s Club reserves the right to add, modify or delete membership benefits as it sees fit without prior notification to its members.
Membership is for a twelve month period, commencing on the day of acceptance and will expire at 12am one year to the day from the date of acceptance.
We will inform you prior to the expiry of your membership, explaining the renewal procedure and the membership cost. Payment can be made either by cheque, Switch/Maestro or credit card.
Membership is not transferable, you must notify us if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your membership or any of the benefits provided.
The board of directors have sole discretion to terminate membership or to refuse to renew membership in the case of conduct deemed by the board of directors to be prejudicial to the good name and organisation of the company or of the mobile & outside catering industry. A notice of termination shall be served in writing upon the member. Any member served with such a notice has the right to request in writing, the opportunity to represent himself before a meeting of the board of directors at which a quorum is present. Such a meeting of the board of directors would be held if possible within seven days of receipt by the company of the members request and if not within seven days as soon as possible thereafter.
Membership will terminate immediately in the following circumstances:-
a) Failure for a period of three months to pay any subscription or levy demanded by the company in accordance with the articles of the Association.
b) If the member shall be wound up or shall become insolvent
Any member whose membership is terminated automatically shall notwithstanding the termination of his membership remain liable for any outstanding subscription or levies due up to the time of termination of membership.
Any member may resign their membership by giving not less than three months written notice to the board of directors, fees are not refundable.
The member agrees that we are not responsible or liable for any benefits provided by participating suppliers and if you have any claims relating to any of these benefits, you will only claim directly against the suppliers providing the benefit. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTY OF SATIFACTORY QUALITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURCHASE, WITH RESPECT TO ANY OF THE MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS OR RELATED INFORMATION PROVIDED TO THE MEMBER. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL OUR LIABILITY EXCEED YOUR CURRENT MEMBERSHIP FEE AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR YOUR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. We reserve the right to eliminate, add change and substitute benefits and participating providers without notice to you. We assume no responsibility for the payment of or contribution to any use or sales tax, which taxing authorities may impose and such taxes, to the extent, imposed shall remain your sole responsibility or that the provider of the benefits, as the case may be.
This agreement and the terms of membership shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Your personal / company details will be held by Trade Management Services Ltd and used for membership administration and marketing purposes if they are deemed to be in the interest of our members. By becoming a member you expressly consent to this.
To cancel your membership you must do so in writing sent recorded delivery by Royal Mail. If you cancel your membership within the first 14 days a full refund will be given, providing none of the membership benefits have been used. No refund will be made after 14 days.
